Fuel Surcharges allow you to bill a percentage of the services you plan to invoice by automatically adding a service to the invoice when it is generated. This is tied to a service of your choice so that you can determine what you would like for it to be called, so you are not forced to call it Fuel Surcharge, and whether or not you would like the service to be taxable. You can set this feature up at the company, or at the job level; both methods are displayed below.

To edit the settings for the Fuel Surcharge at the company level, you will need to navigate to the Settings menu, over to the Company column, down to the Settings page. There, you should be able to click on the Job tab to see the settings you need.
There are three settings you need to enter for this feature if you would like to set it up as a company default. Note: You will be able to change or turn off a job’s surcharge at the individual job level.
Service - is the service that you would like to be used when the line item is added to the invoice when it is generated.
Surcharge Pricing Type - gives you the option to calculate the Fuel Surcharge based on a percentage, or on a flat value. This will influence whether you see the 'Default Job Surcharge Service Percentage %' or the 'Default Job Surcharge Service Flat Price' setting below.
Default Job Surcharge Service Percentage % - is where you will enter in the percentage that you would like the Fuel Surcharge calculated off of if you selected Percentage under Surcharge Pricing Type
Default Job Surcharge Service Flat Price - is where you would enter in the flat free for the Fuel Surcharge if you selected Flat under Surcharge Pricing Type.
