Estimate Single Visits Hrs vs Estimate All Visit Hrs Recurring Type

When setting up a recurring type service, its important to know the difference between the recurring type, estimate single visits hrs vs estimate all visits hrs

Recurring type of service is used if the service won't get done in a single day, its important to set the recurring type according to the way you build your job/quote/bid.

A recurring service has two options to help with scheduling:

  • Estimate Single Visit Hrs: this is used if the estimate hours on the service is set to the number of labor or man hours that are needed to get the service done that day (in one single visit), for example lawn maintenance is usually estimated this way,
  • Estimate All Visit Hrs: this is used for a large service such as an plant or paver patio installation, where the total number of estimated hours on the service recurring parent is set to the total labor or man hours to get the entire service done over multiple days.

Based on which of the two recurring types you choose, the recurring scheduler will assist you accordingly.

Recurring service types can be set up as a service default in your service set up screen. For help on how to set up default service items, please refer to our quickstart video on that here.
