What is E-Statement?
An e-Statement is a digital alternative to traditional paper or PDF statements, providing a secure and convenient way to manage transaction details online. Similar to an e-Invoice, e-Statements allow your customers to view, download, and manage transactions seamlessly.

- Real-Time Access: Customers can access their updated e-statements at any time, from anywhere, on any device with internet access, all they need is the E-Statement link.
- Paying Dues: Your customers can now settle their outstanding balances directly through the e-Statement. This provides the same seamless experience as the one offered with e-Invoices.

E-Statement Controls & Settings
The e-Statement feature will be enabled by default upon its release. You will have complete control over how e-Statements are managed for your customers' accounts.
Accessing E-Statement Settings:
To configure e-Statements:
- Click on the cogwheel icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to the E-Statement tab to manage preferences and settings.
The E-Statement setting is also accessible from the communication screen, allowing users to easily adjust certain settings without needing to navigate to the main settings screen. This enhances convenience and streamlines the management process.
1. Embedded PDF:
When this feature is enabled, the e-Statement will appear as an embedded PDF directly within the customer's browser tab when they click on the "View e-Statement" button in their email. This seamless integration allows users to view the document without the need to download or open it separately.
2. Show Company Logo:
This setting allows the company's logo to be included and displayed on the E-Statement. Enabling this feature ensures that customers see the company’s branding.
3. Ability to Pay Account Balance:
This option offers your customers a direct, integrated way to pay their account balance directly from within the e-Statement. By clicking the Pay Outstanding button, they can make payments using their card or bank account. Alternatively, they can click Prequalify Now to apply for financing. This feature enables customers to pay overdue invoices and finance charges conveniently, without having to leave the document or navigate to another webpage.
4. Display Customer Portal Registration/Sign-In Link:
Enabling this feature will add a prominent link within the e-Statement that directs your customers to register for or sign in to their customer portal. This simplifies the process for customers to manage their accounts, access past statements, update personal information, and track payment history all within their customer portal account.
E-Statement Merge Field Usage
You can add the Merge Field to your email template just like you would with an E-Proposal or E-Invoice, and place the e-Statement link anywhere within the email. This ensures that the position of the e-Statement link remains fixed in the location you set.
If you send a statement without using the merge field, the e-Statement link will automatically be added to the email footer by default.

How do I enroll in E-Statements, and can I switch back to regular PDF/Paper statements if needed?
The E-Statement feature is enabled by default upon its release to your site. Unfortunately, you cannot switch back to regular PDF or paper statements once the feature is activated.
Are E-Statements available for all account types?
Yes, E-Statements are available for all account types.
How can clients access their e-Statements?
You can send statements to your clients either individually or in batches. Clients will receive their statements as e-Statements, and by clicking the "View E-Statement" button, they will be redirected to the e-Statement screen. The e-Statement view is also optimized for a seamless experience on mobile devices.
Can customers download or print e-Statements?
Yes, customers can download and print their e-Statements in PDF format.
