To have the Column Grouping feature, Column grouping first needs to be enabled if not, by clicking the 4x4 grid icon at the top right of the listing:
If it displays Column Grouping Off, column grouping has been enabled.
Also be sure to check the boxes of the columns you wish to see in the listing.
Column grouping can occur by clicking a column and dragging it slightly up to group by, for example in the GIF below it demonstrates grouping by customer tag in the CRM listing.
The Grouping feature can even group more than one item farther down as demonstrated:
This example is grouping by sales rep then by City
You also have the option by clicking the 4x4 grid to export this listing to excel (granted the person has permission to export)
You can also sort by column alphabetically and reverse alphabetically by just clicking on the column:
For example right now it is sorting by city alphabetically
And now it is sorting by reverse alphabetically
Clicking the column one more time will get the arrow to disappear and remove the sorting function
